Coming Around Again

Well it is about time that I came back to the song of the day blog. Finally I have moved and gotten mostly unpacked. Whew! There is nothing that is more stressful than moving. So happy to be back though. I love being near family though and because of that I have been thinking about this song. I love to sing along to this song and the music video is kind of cool too. I love watching old family videos that I havn't seen in forever! This song makes me think about my life so far and how I am doing. I may not be perfect but I am trying to do the best that I can. I know I have been horrible posting lately. Moving is crazy right now. So until I have made it through this move this will be the last post. Until I get there that is. So I will leave you on a humorous note. A group of BYU students made a Harry Potter parody using Katy Perry's song Firework as inspiration. One girl re wrote the lyrics so now its Firebolt. Well I hadn't either until my husband slipped this c.d. in the car one day and started singing at the top of his lungs to it. What can I say? My hubby is adorable! So this song kind of fits my mood right now. With all the stress of moving I keep thinking that tomorrow will be better. This song was written by The Sherman Brothers and they said that they had written it about Walt Disney. It was show at the New York World's Fair and then used in the theme park too. It is a nice song that fills you with hope that tomorrow will get better. Until tomorrow I am the Music Nerd.

Tall Paul

Boy has life been crazy lately with all the moving preparations. Because of this my posting has been sadly slacking. I will honestly try my best to keep it up daily. So I hope you all had a wonderful fourth of July! I sure did. I had the best dutch oven dinner and dessert! Followed by wonderful fireworks.
Back to music though. We are now continuing our Sherman Brothers tribute/education. Today's song is Tall Paul. A song they wrote for Annette Funicello, a mousekateer. I think it is a cute song and very catchy. Let me know what you think.
